Proposed resolution on Abusive registration practices
version 1.0


1. ICANN should solicit public comment on the issue of abusive registration practices by registrars and registries for domain names.

Comments should address the following issues:

a. Are there business practices by registrars or registries that harm consumers?

b. What are the remedies that would protect consumers from abusive practices?

c. Which bodies, agencies or groups should be responsible to address the issue of abusive practices in the registration of domains?
